Tahir named chief medical officer for Sisters of Charity Health System
Medical Staff , Sisters of Charity Health System Add commentsDr. Adnan Tahir, chief medical officer at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, has also been named chief medical officer of the Sisters of Charity Health System. In his new capacity, he also will serve as chief medical officer of the SCHS Quality Committee Board. Dr. Tahir received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut where he also did his residency. He has been with St. Vincent Charity Hospital for more than 17 years. As chief medical officer, Tahir will work with medical staff to establish and maintain high level of quality care and patient safety. Joining Tahir on the quality committee board as chair will be Dr. Richard Christie, director of graduate medical education at St. Vincent.
