Rosary Hall offering free seminars for Addiction Recovery Month
Wellness , Special Events , St. Vincent Charity Medical Center Add commentsCLEVELAND, OH—(September 1, 2009)—September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month and the addiction specialists at Rosary Hall at St. Vincent Charity Hospital will be holding seminars to help educate those who may have a loved one who is trapped within the cycle of addiction.
This year’s theme, “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Learn, Together We Heal,” emphasizes the need to use all available resources to help educate people about the disease and to help those affected by substance abuse to get support.
To open that dialogue, Rosary Hall will present, “Alcohol and Drug Addiction: The Treatable Disease,” which is intended to target those who feel they may have a drug dependency or know someone that may be suffering from drug dependency. Addiction specialists Dr. Ted Parran and Dr. Chris Adelman from Rosary Hall will be on hand to share information about the latest treatments in addiction medicine and provide hope for this “treatable disease.”
For the convenience of attendees, the seminars are offered at three separate dates and locations. All three events will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
· September 16, St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, Dempsey Hall, 3356 Clague Road in Westlake
· September 23, St. Vincent Charity Hospital, St. Vincent de Paul Room, 2351 E. 22nd Street in Cleveland
· September 30, Solon Medical Campus, Community Room, 33001 Solon Road in Solon
