Georgette Jackson, executive director of Joseph’s Home, will present “Serving the Least among Us” as keynote speaker at the First Friday Club of Cleveland meeting on June 2 at noon. The event, which is being held at The City Club of Cleveland, includes a buffet lunch. Tickets are $20 each and can be reserved by calling 440-390-0172.
Joseph’s Home residents, staff and alums visited the Cuyahoga Community College Culinary Arts Program’s state-of-the-art kitchens to bake cookies for an activity called “Homeless Give Back.” The baked goods were donated to children attending the Catholic Charities Community Service Early Learning Center and the Early Childhood Center of Arbor Park. Cookies were also sold at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, with proceeds benefitting Joseph’s Home.
